Juana & Jesse
Winter Light Through the Chapel, and a Groom Waiting at the Altar
Juana and Jesse chose Silver Sycamore for one thing: the Chapel. They had their reception planned elsewhere, but no other space could hold the ceremony they'd imagined. What followed was a December wedding stripped to its emotional core — vows, flowers, and the kind of portraits that only happen when a couple has nowhere to rush off to.
The Walk That Made It Real
The chapel doors opened and everything Juana had spent a year planning collapsed into a single moment. The aisle stretched ahead, the florals framed the space exactly as she'd pictured, and Jesse stood waiting at the altar.
"As soon as I stepped into the chapel, that's when it felt real and everything looked so beautiful and as I imagined. Seeing the man of my dreams waiting for me at the altar just melted my heart."
Florals That Held the Room
December weddings carry a particular stillness, and the flower arrangements worked with it rather than against it. Inside the Chapel, the arrangements gave the space warmth and structure — every sightline intentional, every detail landing the way it was supposed to.
"I'm really happy with how the flower decorations looked and having my wedding ceremony done in the chapel."
A Film to Feel It Again
With no reception timeline pulling them forward, Juana and Jesse had room to breathe — and a videographer capturing all of it. The decision to invest in film turned out to be the one that keeps giving back long after the day itself.
"Every time I watch it, it feels real and reminds me of the beautiful things I felt on my wedding day."
Why the Chapel, Why December
A winter wedding in Houston is a bet on the weather, and Juana wasn't gambling. The Chapel gave them an indoor ceremony with the look of something far grander — high ceilings, natural light, and the bridal cottage steps away. After vows, they had the full grounds for portraits without a clock running.
"We loved how it had the beautiful chapel, different areas to have our wedding pictures taken at, and because it had the bridal cottage. Since we had a December wedding I wanted to make sure the ceremony was indoors."
